SFT 6.3 Redbrick Code of Conduct

The playbook exists for a reason. Follow it — or expect consequences.

1. Lead Management Discipline

Leads are opportunities. Treat them with urgency and respect.

  • Attend to assigned leads immediately
  • Use “Uncontactable” status correctly
  • Follow up via WhatsApp and email if unreachable
  • Log meaningful updates (who, what, when, why)
  • Follow mentor-approved follow-up timelines

No updates = no work done.

2. Working Outside the Ecosystem

If you go outside, you go alone.

Using your own bankers, lawyers, agents or partners means:

  • Minimal support from Redbrick
  • No escalation backing
  • No protection when issues arise

We support what we control.

3. Lead Classification Rules

Clarity prevents conflict. Follow the rules strictly.

Scenario 1

Bruce sent in an enquiry on behalf of his wife (Melissa) for her new purchase. Can Bruce be the company lead, while Melissa is the self sourced lead?

Rule:
Still a company lead.

No difference, it is still a company lead. A lead does not become self sourced just because the client name has changed.

Scenario 2

Bruce sent in an enquiry of residential $1m and wants to refinance a $500k loan for his commercial property at the same time. Can the self sourced lead be the $1m loan, while the company lead is the $500k loan?

Rule:

  • Larger loan = company lead
  • Smaller loan = self-sourced

We have many lead partners and we are accountable to every single one of them. For the avoidance of misunderstandings, we will apply the larger loan for the lead partner.

The company lead is based on the larger loan. The self sourced lead is the other loan.

Scenario 3

Bruce sent in a commercial enquiry of $500k, but his lock-in period ends only 12 months later. He has a residential property loan of $1m that will be out of lock-in period in 4 months’ time. Can the earlier loan be self sourced, while the latter loan is the company lead?

Rule:

  • Earliest actionable loan = company lead
  • Later loan = self-sourced

The earliest loan will be the company lead while the latter loan is the self source.

When in doubt, follow the rule — not your interpretation.

The playbook protects fairness, accountability, and trust across the entire team.
