SFT 6.4 PDPA (2012) with Redbrick

If you are aware, suspect or observe a data breach, you must notify the Data Protection Officer as soon as possible.

Breach examples:

  • Computing device theft
  • Breaking and entering of locked spaces
  • Hacking of secured environments
  • Malware and virus attack
  • Stolen passwords, keys and documents
  • Social engineering attacks – email, malicious sites, calls and texting

If Redbrick confirms a data breach, we must decide if it warrants a notice to Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Council.

To ensure we are effective in combating breach incidents, we must play our role to contain the breach.
